& The Marine Mammal Center for a Beach Cleanup

As part of the America's Cup Healthy Ocean Project's (ACHOP) mission, each month ACHOP and its partners are creating and taking part in an environmental day. This month, The Marine Mammal Center is hosting an ACHOP beach cleanup at Horseshoe Cove, Fort Baker, Sausalito. Please join us on Sunday August 19, 2012 9:30am - 12pm for some beach cleanup fun and to meet the ACHOP team.
Afterwards, join the team and enjoy complimentary nibbles and drinks at the wonderful Cavallo Point!
Clothing
We recommend wearing layers and sturdy shoes (no sandals). Horsehoe cove is a rocky beach.
If possible, please bring a bucket, gloves, and lots of energy!! Some supplies will be provided.
Directions & Parking

Please park in the Waterfront Cove Parking lot (the nearest parking lot to the water) and meet at 9:30am by the picnic tables for coffee, introductions and instructions.

Coffee and tea will be provided, but please bring your own thermos as no single use cups will be provided.
All participants will get a copy of The Marine Mammal Center’s book: Call to the Rescue: The Story of the Marine Mammal Center!
