Deep Sea Squid

Join us on the 1st Monday of each month for Marine Mammal Monday - a FREE virtual program from our education experts.

This month we get in the spooky spirit with chilling tales about the animals that live in the deepest and darkest parts of the ocean! Learn how elephant seals can dive up to 5,000 feet and stay underwater for two hours at a time, or how a sperm whale searches for its nemesis, the mysterious giant squid, and discover more about eerie looking animals like the vampire squid and goblin shark.

Marine Mammal Monday presentations will be broadcast live on The Marine Mammal Center’s Facebook page. You do not need a Facebook account to watch the live broadcast. Just visit the Center’s Facebook page by clicking this link at 4pm PT on the day of the event.
