A Gray Whale Fluke

Join us on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month for Marine Science Sunday - a FREE engaging ocean-inspired classroom series from our education experts.

This month we celebrate the animals that love to travel!  Marine mammals are famous for their epic migrations along the California coast.  Guided tours will take you around the hospital showcasing some of the patients we are caring for and how our veterinarians are getting them better.  Classroom presentations through interactive activities and multimedia will highlight animals such as the gray whale, which has the longest single migration of any mammal in the world, the Sperm whale, and the Blue Whale, the largest animal in the World.  All of these animals can be viewed off the coast of California so come find out the best times and places to see these magnificent creatures.
