Join The Marine Mammal Center and the Sausalito Film Festival on Saturday, May 12, for a special screening of "The Whale."

This exclusive event will take place at CineArts at Marin Theatre in Sausalito on Caledonia Street at 5:15pm, with a talk by Dr. Jeff Boehm, Executive Director of The Marine Mammal Center at 6:45pm.

A drinks and hors d'oeurves reception will follow at Robert Allen Fine Art Gallery (301 Caledonia Street) with delicious appetizers provided by Osteria Divino from 7:30pm - 8:30pm.

Narrated by Ryan Reynolds, this is a story of a baby orca separated from its family off the coast of British Columbia, and how this smart, friendly, determined whale captured the hearts of those on land. Visit the official website to learn more about "The Whale."

Tickets cost $25 each and all proceeds go towards helping The Marine Mammal Center care for sick, injured and orphaned seals and sea lions.
