Join us on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month for Marine Science Sunday - a FREE engaging ocean-inspired classroom series from our education experts.

This month we wrap up 2018 with a special Marine Science Sunday highlighting our Seal and Sea Lion Superstars of 2018.  In 2018, The Marine Mammal Center rescued many California sea lions, elephant seals, harbor seals, and endangered sea otters, fur seals and Hawaiian monk seals. In fact, in the Spring, we had over 150 patients onsite at once!  We will focus on how our team of volunteers and veterinarians have been able to get those animals healthy and back out to their ocean home for the holidays.  Guided tours will take you around the hospital showcasing some of the patients we are caring for and how our veterinarians are getting them better.  Classroom presentations through interactive activities and multimedia will highlight our most memorable, notable, and to be honest, cutest patients of the year!
