Join us on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of each month for Marine Science Sunday - a FREE engaging ocean-inspired classroom series from our education experts.
Marine mammals make the craziest sounds! Ranging from the loudest noises of any animals (blue whales) to the songs of humpback whales to elephant seals which sound kindof like evil chickens, each marine mammal has their own voice. Come learn more at What Are Marine Mammals Saying and test your knowledge with our newest game of Name that Tune. We recommend teaming our free classroom programs at 12 pm and 2 pm with a Guided tour at 11am, 1pm or 3pm for a truly immersive marine mammal experience. Read on for more info...
FREE Classroom Programs: What Are Marine Mammals Saying- 12 PM and 2 PM (45 minute sessions)
Join a marine biologist from the Center for an interactive presentation on some of the amazing sounds that marine mammals make and how they talk to each other! Sessions are held in the Center's classroom at 12pm and 2pm. A great compliment to the guided tour!

Learn fascinating facts about seals and sea lions from our education experts while seeing exhibits and patient viewing areas. (*Small fee applies, it helps our patients!).
